Remember those leopard/cheetah...let's just call them animal print pants in my post 'Like Mother, Like Daughter?' I told you all about how my mom handed down those beauties to me and how I planned to get them altered...and most importantly I told you to stay tuned to how I styled them.
Well, now I can finally show you the finished product! I got my pants taken in at the waist and the pant leg tapered at a local alterations shop for a reasonable price. The outcome? A harem style pair of printed pants with a high waist that no one else has. And I love them; not only are they comfortable, they are just the right mixture of party and class. I got a lot of compliments on them when I wore them to my alma mater, UGA, for our annual Greek step show.
I enjoyed the show as I went to support my former students that have now grown up. I feel so old just looking at them. Just being around them just makes me feel like my skin is wrinkling as I stand in their presence but then again I'm glad I graduated when I did. These bustas wanted to fight at the after party and I really felt like an old woman. Those fights, yes multiple, led to my saying for the night 'I'm too grown for this.' My attitude matched my outfit for the night, I guess.
What I busted out in: Top & Necklace from Francesca's Collections | Pants my own | Belt from Plato's Closet | Shoes from Steve Madden | Watch from Michael Kors | Bag Steve Madden via TJ Maxx
